Just my opinion. The stock SG shocks, front and back just plain suck. If I had it to do over again, I would have opted to put 13" on the rear. Other than that, love the looks and everything else about the SG. Don't go grey.Keep her happy. It's only money....
However, if my wife gave me an ultimatum about my daily rider that I rode 50 other weeks out of the year, over a 2 week trip.......I might trade HER in.
Maybe discuss the matter with her, and explain that your happiness in riding the bike should be a factor too...and then compromise and get 13 inch rear shocks on your new Street Glide. And yes, I own other bikes aside from the one pictured below, Street Glide included.
