If youre asking the reason as to why this could be happening, trace the running light wires and look for any cracks, splits, corroded connections, pinched areas, etc. Sounds like youre getting a short someplace.

When did problem start?
When does it blow the fuse? immediately, after a turn, with application of brakes?
As another random example: A bike that has been lowered at the rear might cause the wires under the rear fender that run to taillight to be rubbed by tire. If heavier rider/riders are on the bike then those wires could become damaged by tire rub and cause a short.
It blow the first time with general riding, after that it happened more frequent and then as soon as I turned on the ignition. After reading some post I started at the rear and worked my way forward, I found a short at the area on the left side under the fairing near the gauge light wiring where it crossed under one of the metal support brackets. so far the has not been a issue I will trace out some wiring to do a general inspection before reinstalling the fairing. thanks for the reply....
For future reference when tracking down a short, put a 12V light bulb with pig tails in place of the fuse that keeps blowing. This light bulb will consume the load and light brightly instead of the fuse blowing. Then go to the furthermost point in your circuit and begin unplugging connectors working your way back towards your fuse panel. In the field, we call that jimmied up light a short finder. When the light goes out after unplugging a connector, you’ve dramitcally narrowed down the area of your short. I did this yesterday to a 2015 Street Glide, unplugged the connector to the dash panel switch and found my short inside that switch. Great time saver.
Another place to look is under the front fender, I have seen the wire for the fender tip lamp come loose and the front tire will rub through the wires causing a short.
