im looking at
t man 555 tourqester
Dragos 565
woods 555
looking for low end all the way up and I’d like to keep it a 96 for now so I’d like a cam I can expand with
A buddy of mine has the Woods in his 96. From 3,000 RPM up, it is a beast; He dynoed out near 100 HP and something close to 110 ft-lbs. However, below 3,000 RPM, it wasn't much better than stock. That was with a 2-into-1 exhaust and a full dyno tune.
when mine was a 96 i put a stage 1 and a S&S 551 cam in and had it dynod. bike worked great, lots of bottom end and pulled good in 5 or 6 gear on a roll on. you won't be disappointed.
So now that I have decided on what route I’m going I will have compression release ports drilled into the heads and plug them.... will I need to install releases if I keep stock head gaskets with the 103? I figured may as well tap the hole invade I do end up needing them
i know people say the 204 don’t bump up cranking pressure and some say they do
