Anyone out there ever retro fitted a 2014 and up razor tour pack to fit a 2005 2 up detachable rack from what I keep seeing on eBay and all there selling seems I can't do it ?
Welcome and yes, you will have to modify the brackets mounting holes. Use the tour pack as a template. So dont drill the tour pack, drill the mount. I had to do a similar thing.
are you talking about the chopped tourpack? I don't believe they make a razor pack for 2015 and up.
but yeah, otherwise, I've read lots of posts where people have made the newer packs fit on older bikes. most of the problems that I've read about were having to do with adding a spacer underneath to raise it enough so that the old style saddlebags could be opened without hitting the bottom of the tourpack.
True. All I did was that I went to Lowes and bought a piece of aluminum 3/4" x 3/4" x 3' square tubing. Cut to length and drilled holes as needed.
Also a great way to make your own Tourpak Relocation kit - to move the Tourpak back an inch or two in case your girlfriend suddenly starts liking Pie a bunch.
Oh **** I think she's behind me. Someone call 911.

That's funny.
I ride with multiple passengers one of which is 6ft2in and 270lbs. My son sometimes needs a ride to or from work. My wife is only 5ft3in and 100lbs.
I've got the DK Customs tour pack relocation kit installed. Its an 8X10 inch 1/8 inch thick piece of aluminium and a few holes drilled. I wish I had read up on it before purchasing it for $80. Could've saved myself some $!
The wife's legs hit the hand hold bars now and it makes her legs stick out funny. But it did create more than enough room for my son.
Read up before buying any kits.
