Added King size Tour Pack with rack on my RK 2017 with solo quick disconnect.
Next plan was to install US Flag on it.
Suddenly I realized that all Flag with Poles (ebay, amazon around $20) has hole of 8mm, but I measured my rack diameter and it is 14mm. Also no place on OEM Tour Pack. I think on Ultra models where is place near antenna.
Even sites with many different flags with prices more than $50 has the same issue.
Does somebody installed Flag on rack or other place (in RK I don't have antenna as alternative place to connect flag)?
Will happy to see pictures and links to buy (link can be sent PM if forum doesn't allow sell resources links)
H-D sell flags and mountings, from around 35 bucks. Check the Shop tab on their website for installation instructions. They also have one to mount direct onto your tourpak rack for a bit more.
My wife bought the flag and pole at the dealership.
I think it was ~$50
I didn't find on HD site flag with such connection.
HD sell flags with remark : Flags are designed for parade use only and will not withstand high-speed use.
Forgot to mentioned that on last Sunday Dallas ride with more than 300 bikes I checked one by one who has flag and found that everyone just not closing fully bolts to allow 8mm connector to be installed on 14mm rack. Very strange....

Will try Saturday, unfortunately during week they open till 7pm only and I work later.
The HD TourPak racks (Premium and AirWing) are 1/2" (12mm) in diameter.
I had no problem finding a flag holder for mine. As a matter of fact, pretty much all flag mounts for Harley TourPak fit.
I bought this. I couldn’t fit the whole spacer on. The base is plastic, so I don’t know how long it will last, but it survived 400 miles of 80 mph.
I bought it from Rivco, but it was not made by them, so it’s probably available other places.
.
The flag should not be draped over the hood, top, sides, or back of a vehicle or of a railroad train or a boat. When the flag is displayed on a motorcar, the staff shall be fixed firmly to the chassis or clamped to the right fender.

If you're flag shopping (can't help with the OP question about mounting) boat or marine flags are the way to go. I've ordered from these guys before, their flags are very well constructed and durable
