Tell me (I ride all year with electric chaps and vest) does the RoadGlide have the 38 or 45 amp alternator? I know the Classic and Ultras have the rare earth magnets in the rotor for higher output.
As of '06 all touring bikes have50 amp charging systems. Prior to that 38 amps for all Kings & carbed glides except Ultra. 45 amps for Injected glides & Ultra. Per '03 service manual.
