Trask 2 into 1 straight option is what you need. Mid length. Solid performance

just the thread i was looking for and dreading at the same time lol
great ideas but that means more money hahahah
all these newer bikes and RG's i thought i'd pop in and change things up a bit if you don;t mind.
my 98 E-Glide standard in its third iteration, went from a stock 80 standard that was black and no chrome when i bought it (in 95) to a 93" stroker with a burnt orange paint job to this....
this time i went all out ( i thought till i saw the upgrades some of you have done lol )
same bike
120" Ultima... heads were touched up just a lil bit
Primo 6 speed gear set (wish i wouldda kept the 5spd) nothing wrong with the gear set, i think i just geared it too high, need a bigger rear sprocket
chain drive
Progressive 944 in back (too stiff even for my fat ***) and front spring set
fat boy front fender
Pro Pipe gutted and opened up

i wouldn't mind some recommendation for upgrading the brakes (budget friendly please)
an dthe seat, though i do love my Mustang seat it has seen better days and would like to find something with more back to it. i ride solo most of the time.
keep in mind when referring seats i am 6'5" and a touch over 400lb so something wide and set back as far as possible would be ideal. i think my Mustang is a 17"
thanks for indulging me folks you all have some very nice rides!

Nice bike. I like that color.

For brakes, the most economical upgrade is going to be a take off set of HD Brembos from an 08 or later. You'll need everything (calipers, rotors, master cylinder, lever). You'll also need a set of fork legs from a 00-08. I'm almost positive they are a bolt on up to '08. Caliper mount is only difference. Your switch housing should fit with the new master.

Check eBay, there is always someone selling the full meal deal. They are light years ahead of those old single piston you have. I had a 99 RK with those same miserable brakes.

2000-13 Sliders are the same ... (but also for 1"/25mm axles)

BigMike67, are you prepared to also upgrade the front wheel or make a custom axle (or other custom mod) to retain your existing wheel? (to use those 2000-13 sliders)

You mike want to just get some caliper adapters for those 99-earlier sliders to use 2000-later calipers

.

I wish I could go back and get a Road Glide. I tried going for the performance bagger look but its not the same with a street glide.
