Here's an update on my FLHP. Since I got it home I simply took the existing breather hoses and put them inside a 3/8" hose and ran it to a Golan ($46 on eBay) breather/filter/catcher and just tucked it inside my stock air cleaner housing. I kept the stock air box and just replaced the stock air filter with a K&N inside. I put on a new set of Legend Arc with remote reservoirs. I installed them upside down because the **** for the rebound was under the bag and not quickly and easily accessible on the fly while sitting on the bike. Now I can just reach back a little and adjust them with 1 finger. The reservoirs were supposed to be clamped with the supplied billet ones between the bags and rear tire with the ***** facing out and rearward. Also not quickly accessible on the fly, and I hate the way they look back there like that. I took 50 cent stainless hose clamps and mounted them on the Santoro Fabworx crash bars. All adjustments for different riding and passenger can be done from sitting on the bike.

So going to extend and change the angle of the mounting tab. And I'm not knocking kns customs at all. It's a quality piece especially for the price. We just weren't on the same wavelength with what I needed.
I bought mine from them too. Real happy with the price, but the angle does seem different than every other gauge pod ive run. (im running mine in front of the risers, but still)...It seems more extreme because my last setup on pullback risers, the gauges sat perfectly straight up and down....now these ones are pointing towards the ground. Ill need to bend the bracket a bit and hope it doesnt snap, or slide them down the risers to the straight portion and hope theyre still visible.
Also a little concerned about water getting it, theres really no seal....did you do anything for that?

Beautiful sled! Check out Ciro 3D's highway peg mounts. They mount to the floorboards instead of the crash bar.

I spoke with them about it and he is making me an adaptor to run them at a different angle and higher up. When we first spoke before I ordered he misunderstood what setup I was using. And I'm like you trying to think of a way to seal it at least partially. I work for a large paint supply company so hoping to come up with some kind of way to seal it. If you find an answer before I do lemme know, and I'll do the same.

Communication isn't very smooth. He answers right away but its like his first language isnt english maybe? Not trying to be rude, it just seemed a bit difficult when I was explaining I wanted riser-mounted, not top-clamp mounted.
Interested in this higher angle adapter tho...did he send you any pics or anything? Wonder if thatd work for me

Actually I'm in total agreement about the communication aspect. Guy tries very hard to answer questions but it does seem like there's a breakdown at times. He didn't have a picture at the time as he's cutting it fresh. I mean it he would've done one originally for clampbout but come off and down from the front of the clamp it would've been perfect for what I was doing. We shall see what he comes up with. Either way I'm still grateful for what he designed for the money.
