My thought with performance baggers is with the use of shorty 2-1 exhausts; performance bagger is kind of a misnomer. With shorty 2-1 exhaust TQ under 3500 rpms TQ drops down low. I've run and had my bike tuned with the Royal T Racing 2-1 and now the Fab28 2-1 and both exhaust under 3500 suck the TQ out the exhaust. I personally like the shorty 2-1 look and sound, but you can't escape the tuning fact that you'll lose under 3500 rpm TQ as compared to 2-1 with long primaries and long mufflers. May explain why guys don't post shorty 2-1 exhaust builds and only state peak numbers that are above 4000 rpms.

Does a 2-1 long exhaust have the same effect or would I be good performance wise running one? I like the look of my 2-2 but it doesn’t fit the “look” of a performance bagger, but I am also not a fan of the short 2-1, I like the look of a full length 2-1.
