Soo...hey guys. Anyone whose done their front suspension i have a question. When i put my fork tubes back in the trees I was under the impression that the cinch bolts are only tongued to about 20 lbs. Is this right????? Doesn't seem like much to me.

Reason I ask is after a short rride the other day it appeared to have moved. The amount of fork tube exposed above the top tree appears to me slightly more than when I installed them after installing the cartridges. Any help would be great thanks guys.

Just talked to him. He's fairly local and ill just ride down to him. And great prices! Giving a deal for side covers and fender package.

Still waiting on my 2-year warranty to expire on the FLHTP but this is what I've got planned when that happens:
  • Vance & Hines - VO2 Naked 71035
  • D&D Touring M8 Billet Cat
  • Wood Performance WM8-22XE
  • Dynojet - Power Vision w/ Target Tune
  • S&S Oil Pump and Cam Plate Kit
Any thoughts or recommendations?

  • Vance & Hines - VO2 Naked 71035 - all intakes are pretty much the same
  • D&D Touring M8 Billet Cat - good pipe
  • Wood Performance WM8-22XE- nice cam
  • Dynojet - Power Vision w/ Target Tune - good baseline tuner, been using same tuner for last few bikes
  • S&S Oil Pump and Cam Plate Kit - check out fueling cam chest and pump gears

All intakes are not the same. Dyno will prove this, there can be more than 5 hp and torque difference between some of them.

No need to spend the big money on S&S or Fueling oil pumps. The new 8 lobe HD 2020 oil pump set up works great even in big inch, big power builds. Lots of builders have been using it for 6 months or more now over the S&S.

I have 12,000 miles on my M8 build, no issues even in 95 degree weather with the 8 lobe HD pump. Check signature for build spec.
