Hm, any info if that BBC carbon fiber RG is sporting a real carbon tank and fairing, or is that wrap/paint? I know hoffmann has a fairing coming out soon, but haven't seen any carbon tanks out yet.

Tank is hydro dipped. Fairing is legit Hoffman carbon
Yes.... definitely not a good idea to be rolling around on a bagger with a 6 gallon CF fuel tank. They use fiberglass and CF tanks on drag or land speed bikes but fuel is drained after the fact or it’s just for show and merely hides a small fuel cell underneath.
Have you guys seen the new gauge relocation mount for road glides from Big Bear? I know some people are fans of BBP, but I think it's pretty nice looking. I saw a video they posted on IG earlier today. If I can find it i'll post it up.
I'm not so sure carbon tanks are a bad idea....or a good one. Depends a lot on your wallet and how much you want the cool factor. I had one on a ducati, a true feather weight, something like 1/3 the weight of the steel version. Also it's weight up high on the bike where is matters most (excepting rotating weight- but carbon wheels are real and real cool) The tank was sweet for about 15years until the epoxy or something started to break down and it developed a leak. So yeah, carbon tanks I'm a fan, just don't wreck they're expensive if you crack one
I'll bet the difference in a RG tank vs carbon is significant, same for the fairing.
