Thinking about renting a bagger during vacation next month. If I do, it will be for 2 up riding. Currently I use Warm and Safe heated gear. Plug in on my Sporty is a coax jack/plug the comes up from the battery between my tank and seat. What's the setup on something like an Ultra or an Electra Glide? Where is the passengers power access?
I ride a 2016 RGS and use the provided battery harness. If the passenger is going to use heated gear I would use a second Battery harness.I was riding today and It was 36 and I had pants and jacket 3/4 turned up on a dial temperature controller and it handles it fine and the radio was on.A second rider with heated gear might concern me enough to research or hopefully someone else can chime in.

How much of a current load can a bagger handle?
Much more than your Sporty can - especially if it's an M8 bagger (higher charging system output than previous models).
No problem handling a passengers gear as well. Just make sure when you both get off the bike, even for a short period of time that (she) doesn't leave it on so that it is nice and warm when she gets back to the bike. I know of this happening. You will need to make sure the power sources are connected prior to taking off. I would guess you have it so mention this to the dealer beforehand and I suspect they would be happy to help, or so I would hope.
Why wouldn't they? There's nothing special about rental HDs, they're simple the same modeis anyone can buy off a showroom floor. At least the ones I've rented have been.

They don't come with the coax heated gear harness. You have to install it. They only come with the battery tender lead installed.

Well my 2016 Ultra Limited didn't come with the heated gear wiring. I had to add the kit that came with my heated HD gear.
I installed driver and passenger connectors for heated gear on my 2012 ultra limited. They work for both of us with no problem. I would like to find a better way to mount the pigtails connectors on the bike.
