I ordered a 7" dark tent and a 8" lite tent Long Ride shield with the flat top for 2 up . After reading on forums ,it seems most do not get the right shield that works for them the first time. I was also interested in Klock werks shields with the hard coating. I will see how these work for me and then go from there.
LRS are great. I have a 7" Dark Ultra flip and it is perfect for my HI bike's 100 mile days. I have the KW Dark 8.5" which is really almost 10" on my OR bike which is perfect for those 600 mile days. I have thought about getting a 7" LRS for the Oregon bike for local rides. I am 5'9" and both bike's seats are low to the frame and I see well over the top of both shields.
At the price of a LRS shield if you have to buy another one, it's not a big hit in the pocketbook.
They are on sale right now and I got 2 for not much more than one would cost at the ragular price. Klock werks is nearly 3 times the price, but to be fair they have the hard coat on them .

I got the DARK KW because I don't EVER plan to look through it as the view is very distorted. It does do an excellent job of routing the air a good 3" over my head and I get little or no head buffeting.

I went with the tented this time as I don't plan to look through it either. I have always looked through windshields but for what ever reason on the HD, I want to look over the windshield. I have also had a full face helmet for many years( over 10) and am now liking a 3/4 and have looked at 1/2 helmets but have not found one that's works for me yet.
I have the 6.5" KW dark tint now (almost 8.5" actual from the center mounting screw). It is great for summer riding, but am looking for a bit more protection in the spring and fall. Considering the LRS 10" which should give me about 1.5" more height than the KW. I am just under 5'10". Anyone with experience or suggestions before I order? I think there shouldn't be any issue with seeing over the new one.

I am 5'7" with and longer through the waist. It's hard for me to tell what is the best shield for me,so I measured by there instructions and hope for the best. After I try the shields I ordered I will have a much better idea of what works for me.
