I've never had to touch up the bike but I'd have no problem using HDs touch up paint on it. Since they market it as a touch up paint i would expect to be able to apply it over existing paint. I'd be scrupulous about following the prep instructions on the can to get best results. I also think I'd rather refresh as much as I could reach rather than just trying to match a scratch.

 

Use the HD wrincle black paint that comes in a rattle can right from a Dealer and a butt-load of masking tape!
