Do many of us do any business with a company called Zippers Performance products? I never see or hear their name mentioned on this forum. I had never heard of them but I purchased a shift shaft bushing removal tool from them for just $27. Got here in 2 days. I was thrilled. Just wanna give them a shout out, if it's ok..... they have a very large, cool catalog of touring parts.
I run Zippers 575 redshift cams and also have their dual piston cam tensioners. Always had good luck with the company. Will be buying the Axtell oil bypass from them as well when I'm ready.
Zippers Performance Products is an offshoot of Zippers MC shop in MD, well known for serious speed work & related products. Been around a long time and have a solid rep. I've used them a few times over the years.
Fuel Moto changed out my cam chain tensioners when they did my 107 build. Used the Zippers Dual Piston Cam Chain Tensioners. Quality stuff.
Dawg, the oil bypass valve is an interesting item. I've seen numerous twin cams that seem to have poor oil pressure, and the diagnosis has typically been a poorly aligned oil pump. My bike has always stayed pretty constant at that center mark on the guage. I wonder if this little valve has been part of the erratic oil pressure issue some bikes have?
