Default Bluetooth compatability

Has anyone used another helmet Bluetooth unit with the Boom audio system? Does it function the same as the HD?

From my experience: with the BOOM system, you have to have the WHIM (wireless headset intermodal module) to get bluetooth to your headset and back to your BOOM. I understand that it will work with almost any bluetooth headset, but only the HD branded Sena 20s Evo will function in stereo. Harley specified some particular bluetooth quirk (that's above my pay grade) to Sena for the headset so that stereo would be proprietary with their branded headset. Hope that sort of answers your question. Welcome, JD
