Default Michelin Commander II

Just ordered the Michelin Commander II tire for rear tire. The reviews look really good on it. I got 10K out of the stock tire and thought that was a little low. I figured i would give this a shot. Has anyone had any luck with this one?

I installed a set of Commander II at the start of this riding season. I've nothing but good things to say about them. They corner better for me than the American Elites I had been running. They didn't seem to need a break in period to scuff them up. They handled great right away. I had been getting about 16k miles out of the AE tires and am hoping for at least that out of the Michelins.

I put them on at the beginning of the year, awesome tire. Unfortunately had to replace the rear recently due to a rather large nail lodged in it, but I couldn’t be happier so far with the performance.

Front tire still has plenty of life in it. When it’s done I will get it done

I have the AEs on my Fatboy and the Michelin's on my Ultra. Love them both. You won't be disappointed.

I had a set of commanders on my Ultra til I sold the wheels and the new wheels came with Dunlop’s. I will go back to the Michelin’s when these wear out.

On another note, I run this stuff in my tires called Rideon, it balances the wheels and also seals punctures.

I have about 13k on a rear. Just put a new front on with a new front wheel this year. I love these way more that the stock Dunlops. Good traction and a nice ride.
