Default Please help

Hey ya’ll I’m new here. My name is Brandon. I have a 2012 road Glide with 33k miles. I’ve felt like the front end is very unstable, the other day I was driving down the interstate @ 90mph and the front end started to lightly shake like it wanted to go in to a death wobble. My buddy has a good looking pretty well built 08 rocker c with 8500 milked on it and I kinda convinced him to trade me. I’m now thinking about it and wondering if I’m making a bad deal. Does anyone have experiences with these two bikes? I’ve only owned the road Glide for 6 months I paid 10.5k for it.

Check the front tire pressure. It should be around 40-42 psi. Sometimes a little bit more. You just need to find the sweet spot for the particular tire you're running.

They don't all do that! As mentioned above, something is wrong.

Regarding the trade, I would keep the RG if it were me if I could only have one bike, but I always did like the looks of the Rocker. I wouldn't mind having one as a second bike for a short range bar-hopper but the stock seat is hard as a rock. My Brother rented one here so I rode it for about 15 minutes before I pulled over and got my Ultra back.

WELCOME to the Forum...unless you are another OPW!

Thanks fellas! Tire pressure on both tires is 38 psi, I have a new tire up front and damn near new one in the back, my front shocks are supposedly going out they showed me the oil coming out of the top. My buddy said it could be the spokes, they probably need to be tightened, I love the road Glide it’s a nice bike but for some reason this one just gives me the goosebumps when I ride it.
This is my current bike
This is the rocker c I’m thinking of trading for

Welcome to the Forum. Nice bikes, both of them. You didn't mention that the Rocker C had an S&S engine in it...or it it an HD 96" TC with an S&S badge? Do you know which one?

I think the issue is that you were exceeding the speed limit

Also look at a product called Ride One. It is a gel that goes into the tire and dynamically balances it. Does away with wheel weights. As others have said something is not right - it is not a characteristic of the bike

Ditch the laced wheels and get the cast wheels that belong on that bike. Adjust the steering fall away and check your forks for proper maintenance and fluid.
