Saddle Bag Rack From The Original Post I think the OP was asking about... not my idea, I just made a couple and they work great.
Stock list:
2qty 10' 1" PVC
4qty 1" Tee's
10qty 1" 90's
2qty 1" x 6' pipe insulation
I've been thinking about a stand and these look like some simple enough plans that will work.
I do have the small clear rubber "feet" that I've stuck to the bottom of the bags that work great for a quick on/off as I can just set them down on the garage floor or driveway.
What I'm thinking I'd like the stand for is for cleaning & washing. Every now & then, I like to do a thorough cleaning and remove the bags so I can wash the back side of the bags, as well as everything behind the bags. Just setting them down on the rubber "feet", I'm always concerned they will fall or tip over. For you guys that just put them down a towel/carpet/cardboard how do you wash them as whatever you're putting down will get soaked & wet.

Another reason why they're handy. My buddy has them and he can also move both bags around at once when he's working on his King, or make repairs on the bag hardware. He has a peg board in his garage so they just hang on a hook and be outta the way. No washing towels or sheets for him.

I use the rubber feet and wash my bags. Wash with one hand, hold with other and never had one fall over. I can tilt it over and wash the bottom too. I put a piece of electrical tape over the hole for the bolt.
