Looks like exactly what I need, but it says only works on 1996-2008 models.
Can someone explain to me why this won't work on my 2012 Limited?

2008 was the start of the change to new frame along with other changes. 2008 had TBW already on touring models along with some other 2009 changes.

The fitment is up to 2008 because it has holes for cables that are not needed on your bike. Your grip might not fit either. I would keep looking for the right ones. Doesn't the limited need cruise buttons too?
