Would it be sacreligious to put a yamaha emblem on my Harley?
[sm=hiya.gif]
Why? If you want a Yamaha, buy a Yamaha. Don't understand why folks think it's funny to put another manufactures logo on their bike. But hey...this is America.
I HAVE a yamaha sportbike/naked that I'm keeping. I have a HArley Emblem on my Yamaha and was just joking about putting a yamaha emblem on my Harley.
I'll be picking up my new 2007 FLHTC in 7 days. My question is: I put an HD emblem on my Yamaha sportbike (which I am keeping). Would it be sacreligious to put a yamaha emblem on my Harley? (PLEASE DONT SHOOT ME)

Add neon lights, a coffee can muffler, get the lowering kit, and slap on a Type R sticker.
Get a tour pack and put a huge sub in there to pump out the bass and preload your mp3 player with nothing but hip-hop.
Now pull into your local bar.
If you're looking to get yer *** whooped, that oughta' do it, hah
I like the neon lights and the huge sub woofer in the trunk ideabut Charlie Daniels, Conway Twitty and a little Skynyrdis more my taste -them andthe Outlaws- turned up to 11 with the bass boost full on - whatcha think?

Just make me a beneficiary on your life insurance policy before you put the Yahama sticker on your HD.
Seriously, bro, you certainly have the right to do whatever you like, as others have said, but there are a lot of bikers out there who might not take kindly to it. I've seen bikes and cars destroyed for less, and it doesn't matter that a HD may have foreign made parts. It's still an American made bike.
I imagine this whole thread is just for fun anyway, right, just to see if you can get a rise out of us old guys? Thanks -- now I'll go take my blood pressure pill -- maybe take two!
