Default CVO 110 Engine issues?

Considering a purchase my first CVO. 2012 Street Glide with 3000 miles on the clock. Concerned about engine reliability and other related issues.

Keep up with the service and ride, cross that bridge when you come to it... you may never have a problem

From what I understand all the 110 oil leak problems came about in 07 and 08, after that the bugs were all worked out.

Lifters are the biggest concern I've heard about the 110. Plan on changing them and you should be good.

08 cvo rk with 35k and it doesn't leak or burn any oil between changes...ok maybe half a quart at 3k. Most of the bugs that plagued the early 110s were worked out by 2012 but if the lifters haven't been changed yet I'd definitely do that and then ride the hell out of it.

i notice that it is a little hotter than my wife's bike, but i attribute that mostly to the fact that i have fairing lowers and she doesn't. i don't find it to be 'excessively' hotter.
