So I pulled my 08 sg apart today to send the heads out to have ACR ports machined in and I noticed that the rocker covers do not have a square hole in the center to allow me to remove the ACR without taking the rocker covers and lower base off.
do the wires just get tucked under the rocker boxes or do I need a different style rocker box setup with a hole up through the center?
The wires get tucked under the rocker boxes, routed towards the throttle body in the center of the engine. You have to remove the rocker boxes to gain access to the ACR's.
I do not know what type air cleaner you have, but when I added the ACRs I also added the Screamin' Eagle Ventilator Elite Air Cleaner Kit whcih came with a clip for the ACR wires (because the Induction Module Bracket gets removed, thus the below clip would not work for me.)
If using the stock A/C with the stock Induction Module Bracket, maybe the ACR Connector Clip (part number 10398) would work for you??
(it is about 2 bucks, and meant to hold the wires out of the way.)
