Cigarette Lighter Uses

I came from having just a windshield and a USB charging plug mounted on my handlebars, so having a cigarette lighter built into my fairing seems like a pretty cool thing to have. There has to be some pretty useful things that can be plugged into it or mods that can make it even more useful. I'm sure there's things I never even thought of for it! Besides a USB charger, is there anything else that you've used it for?

I took my lighter out and covered it with a HD bar and shield cap and only use it for a USB hookup for my iPod

Before I ran the sierra electronics extension to the tour-pack for my Sena Freewire, I had it strapped to the bars and plugged it in there.

Just make sure that whatever you plug in there doesn't hit the tank when you turn the front end to full lock.
Also, not sure about the 2009s, but some of the lighter sockets had the polarity reversed.

I have an outlet in the fairing of the Limited, don't use it all that often- mainly for charging. But I also have a similar outlet in the tourpack, which use more often.
