Need help o. My 96 road king
My 96 road king is grinding on ring gear replaced starter,jackshaft,both bushings in primary, got new ring gear and still grinding please help me

I could be way off but a buddy of mine had to replace the starter on his soft tail, when he went to fire it up it would grind as you described. Another buddy told him to pulled it back off and reinstalled following torque specks, it fired right up as crazy as it sounds.
