I've seen this sort of DIY "chrome" before in person. It's not nearly as nice as real chrome plating. Even when sprayed by pros it doesn't come out all that great. But if you just want something to look silvery and shiny this might pass. But it will be very expensive. Do the research before you buy.

I have sprayed it out and its good, but really hard to get perfect. Its really better for doing a candy color over. They have some good products.
