I have, yes. Kevlar, I believe. They're fine, no issues with stopping. I figure changing brakes is so easy, even for a moron like me, so even if they last 1/2 as long as stock, I'm still ahead of the game. Not sure how long they lasted, last time I used them I traded the bike before I replaced them.

I see no good reason to overspend on OEM pads, but hey, it's your money.
I saw a guy pay 7 bucks for one fob battery at the dealer recently.
