I bought this battery on Amazon yesterday and it arrived today. I could of done the Big Crank or the Deka for around $100 -$110. I bought the Deka last time (A few years ago) and I think the Deka is as good as the factory battery, but I was willing to spend a little more for the extra CCA. This YUASA is rated at 500 CCA and the reviews all say that it spins the motor faster than the stock one ever did.
I have not installed the battery yet, time will tell if it was worth the extra $30-$40, but I was not overly impressed with the power or life of the last Deka battery.
I buy batteries made by East Penn.I had a Battery crap out on me and I had no choice but to buy an interstate battery and it was $150 bucks. The Battery they pulled out was seven years old and it was a factory Battery made by east penn.I work for Kenworth and we sell East penn. The Deka Battery is an East penn battery.
