I was looking for one of these so I wouldn't have to pull my muffler, so I thought I would dredge it up for everyone else. Mac Tools PN KH9636 is not available at this time and HD 47925 is not sold to the general public. (unless you know a mechanic at a dealer) Tool Discounter.com has it at 1/2 the price of Mac tools +SH. Al
You can find an equivalent toolhere. This one is nice because it has the 1/2" square drive for torque. There are othersimilar wrench's that only have 3/8" square drive for torque.
I don't actually own it yet but will in the near future.
I made the mistake of buying the cheaper one with the 3/8 drive, not enough research.[:@]
Bad technical advice, but to each his own... I prefer to put the proper torque on the wheel bearings.
That's good advice on a tapered roller bearing but that's not what is on the rear of a H-D. The only thing that is getting torqued is the axle and nut.
