It's a cruiser not a sport bike. Aerodynamic drag starts to take over and really tax the HP as the speed climbs.
The stock Harley heads and valves only flow so much air and if you look at many dyno charts using stock heads you can see how rapidly they drop off after 4k rpms. No cam is going to change that much without opening up the heads.
The 48H is one of the best cams out there for the 96" motor for general riding but no matter how you dress it up the 96 is a turd performance wise without some head work to boost flow and compression.
I am guessing you are trying to reach top speed but using 6th gear? Can't do that unless going downhill. Try dropping to 5th, or maybe even 4th but I myself wouldn't maintain that rev range for very long.

Last i checked operating a motor vehicle is not a right. Happens everywhere you go. People telling you how to run your vehicle. I was simply giving the guy a suggestion to try amd maximize his need for speed. Sometimes we all need that little reality check or nudge in the right direction
