Bike off, press and hold trip button, turn ignition to run, when diag pops up on odometer release trip button, then press trip button to go through each diag module. Each one should have a "n" for NO. If one has a "y" for YES press and hold the one with Y and it will give you the diagnosis code.
Could also be as simple as a bad connection at the temp sensor, or the sensor going out of calibration. Any chance you just washed the bike, especially with a garden hose or high pressure washer? Lots of "magic" has been known to happen after either of those two activities from water squeezing into plugs.
Check the left bottom side of your water pump. It sticks out past the cover. Mine got hit and broke a chunk out of the plastic housing causing the water pump to stop working. Electrical in that corner of the pump. Warranty replaced it at 20,000 miles. I got the same codes you did.
Another failed water pump in the Steamin Eagle fleet.
2016 Triglide with just under 12k miles and out of warranty. Symptoms were CEL and high temperature light after 4 miles or so. Fault code P1019 was locked in. Fault code triggered by temperature differential between ECT on left ( primary) radiator and the forward cylinder head temperature sensor. Three weeks after 10k service. Coolant reservoir was low but not empty. Topped off with Peak Global pre-mix in the gold jug (identical to HD, at half the price).
Ran the engine off, ignition on with WOT test which energizes the fans and coolant pump. No vibration from the coolant hoses. Didn't see much coolant action so started to suspect the pump wasn't running.
Had dealership test and repair, futily pushing for a good will repair. $630 later new pump installed and my steamin eagle is dual cooled again. I'm buying another pump as a spare. Two hose clamps and the electrical connection then vent and top off coolant to get on the road again.
Dealership said you can ride it without the pump. It's like riding a pre-rushmore bike.
