Default Wheel chock in trailer

I called condor and talked with them about their pit stop wheel chock, they advised this chock/stand has a trailer mount kit and you only need 2 straps or it doesnt have to be mounted at all but needs 4 straps, 1 on each corner. Seems weird to me that I could just sit the stand in there on the floor unmounted, drive bike in and strap and drive away. The guy assured me it was safe and would not move as long as I use 4 straps. Anyone have any experience doing this?

I am looking for a wheel chock myself. I have a toy hauler and would like a flush with the floor mount.

Four straps that won't break, stretch or loosen. I would want the front of the condor up against a wall or something to limit its forward movement.
Hope you find something that works for you.

I wouldn't only run 2. I run 4 on the front and 2 in the rear to just keep that from walking side to side. I have used the harbor frieght knockoffs but not the actual condor.

I thought the same about the condor being up against something but the head guy there assured me it would not move forward as long as I use 4 straps. If I don't have to drill my nice floor I would rather not but I'm just not sure

Condors are great chocks. They will hold your bike upright, you really only need the straps to minimize the sway. I got the trailer mount because you can easily remove the chock leaving only the flat mounting plates on the floor of your trailer if you need the space to haul something else.

I put the Condor wheel chock in my toy hauler and it keeps the 2 bars on the floor when the chock is removed. I just cover them with a rug when we use the area without the bike inside. I can take a photo if you want one.
