Default Apes for 2011 street glide

Hi guys, I hope this is the right spot to ask for a little help. I'm looking at getting either 10 or 12 inch bars for my 2011 street glide.

my question is what do I all need to get besides the bars? Will I need all new cables?. When I look that up, they cost more then the bars, is that just the way it is?

Longer cables & hoses is just just part of the deal. My suggestion is to install the bars with poly bushings then figure out what you need. Takes longer but takes the guesswork out of it and can save some money. I discovered on my FLHX for 12" bars that I didn't need longer wiring...I just rerouted the chassis wiring and plugs and everything fit just fine.

I have 12 1/2 apes on my 2010 Ultra. I went with longer clutch and brake cables, existing wiring was rerouted. On the cables I went with Magnum black pearl, yes they are expensive.
