Mis matched wheels have existed forever, I see no issue with it and have run them myself.
to me, it becomes a look thing. I like matching wheels, however it does not mean anything
everyone has likes and dislikes
I try to focus on me and not worry about you or anyone else.

I agree. That's why i said I'm just fishing for opinions. Not judging them at all. Just curious as to the general consensus.
Going thru this talk with my wife. Bought her a chrome front end for her bike and now looking for a wheel. I say only to get the front cause the back really can't be seen. Showing her the price of the wheels I think she is coming around with only buying the front.

I bought my rear agitator as a blem in 16 for 325 bucks. Tossed it in the closet until I needed tires. Then over the winter I bought the front and the rotors. Left the stock rear rotor and pulley. With discounts and tires I'm all in at 1800.00 if I had to pay full retail would I have them done? Maybe not.
You ask about 'custom' wheels, which suggests you are thinking of buying two new wheels? If I was doing that I would buy matching, especially if I was spending the big money that some of them go for. On my own Glide I have an odd pair, 18" front and 17" rear, but that is because I bought two secondhand wheels and happen to like the looks of each of them for different reasons.
