OP: My install instructions stated to use anti-seize. Sure came in handy when I removed them years later.

I got a six inch bolt that fits the muffler support threads under the bags. Screw it in and use it as leverage to get the muffler to turn when removing it. Use common sense and you should be ok. I also use anti seize on the joint.

From Fuel Moto, I ordered the S&S MK 45's. They're supposed to be a much better muffler, better to tune and will take to the cams that I'm going to have installed.


I loved the sound of the CFR's but really, I found them to be a PITA.
