Default Street glide brake pads

Which pads? Is there a good better best? I see pads for $20 and others for $110. I don't mind buying the ones for $110. Just want to know why? Or type, manufacturer?????

Thank you........ Joe

I go with the D2Moto pads for $20 for all 6 pads. They are a bit dusty, but everyone of my buddies is happy with them also.....

For the pads on the Brembos, I stay with HD. Just my preference. If I were to consider something else, I’d probably go with EBC.

I use to only use OEM, but just put a set of these on (link below). They are very close to OEM in stopping power. Time will tell on how long they last, but for the price I can get four sets that equal one of OEM.

I just put Lyndall gold plus on my road glide this morning. Tires and brakes are not something Im trying to save money on. Thats just my opinion.

EBC, or Lyndall are the two better performing options. They are popular with the custom rotor crowd. The HD ones seem to work fine for me.

I suppose I will get o.e. I thought I might learn something new. Like: "this pad is proven to stop in 1/2 the distance and 1/2 the cost of o.e."

Thanks for input......

Yeah, you can read the manufacturer’s claims and take them for what they’re worth. EBC’s and Lyndall’s probably do perform better, but at what price? Usually, once you get past the baseline, you start giving up something, whether it’s cold braking, rotor life, etc. The oem’s have done well by me, so unless the performance pads are cheaper, I’ll stick with them. If you do try something exotic, post up your results.

Lyndall Gold + are my choice. Performance in all weather conditions make it worth the price.

Idk. Bad pic. They are wearing even. Looks to be alot left. Considering their thin to begin with. 17,800. Miles. Original pads. What to do?
