I'm going to change the stator in a couple of weeks, I have a service manual ordered, so I really don't know what all gaskets I will need. Service manual should be in next week to find out what gaskets I will need.

Gaskets are available from most of the after market suppliers like JP Cycles or even from Amazon if you know the Kit number you are looking for. The Cometic Kit looks pretty complete as it includes the Inner Primary Bearing seal and the seal for the Starter Jack Shaft.
Seeing you will have the inner and outer primaries off I would be replacing the shifter shaft seal on the transmission case as well which is not in their kit and the Inner Primary Bearing as they both go bad eventually.
Here you go if you are still riding the 2000 Electra Glide
I should have stated that it is the 2000 EG that I will be working on. I have read the reviews for the Cometic and James gasket kits. They don't sound like they are reliable. The EG has started having different issues come up fairly regular, which I think is due to it only having 8100 miles on it when I bought it in September of 2017
Why are you changing a stator on a low mileage bike?
What are the symptoms?
What are the diagnostics steps you have taken?
For example: 1999 had a problem with a bank angle sensor bracket....the broken bracket would cause sensor to think bike had fallen on its side and would shut motor down.
Battery is not being charged. Haven't done diagnostics yet. Waiting on service manual. I know I'm jumping to conclusions by assuming it is the stator. It could be another issue. I'm anxious to find the problem and get back to riding. Preparing for the worst, hoping for the best!
The HD gasket is the the one to get for the primary. I've used both James and Cometic. Both leaked. Never had a leak with the HD gasket and have R&Rd it several times.
