Default Help Identifying Unused Connectors Please

I have a 17 Road King Special.

On the left side behind the headlight, there is an all-white connector with three prongs in it. (See picture) On the right side behind the headlight is a deutsche? connector. (See picture 2). In the post preview these pictures need to be rotated 90 degrees.

Can anyone help me identify what these are for? I'm trying to find a power source to run power to my iphone.

Thank you in advance.

On my 14 there is a 'parking' light connector that is unused except in Europe. I used that for my GPS, phone, camera, etc. charging circuit. Beltran makes a connector that automatically provides the right volts for the device and it is small.

The only way I know to answer your question, however, is to have a shop manual for the bike or to test the different wire terminals with a multi-meter to ground and the ignition on.

Thank you @cwsharp. Can I ask how you tapped in to that connector? Could you possibly point out the Beltran connector so I could understand what you did?

I bought the service manual, but quite honestly, being a newbie at doing these types of mods, I'm having difficulty understanding those wiring diagrams. Additionally, The 2017 Service manual doesn't specifically say that it covers the Road King Special, only the Road King...so I'm concerned I might not be looking at the correct information.

Thanks again!

Just an FYI, yOu can download free wiring diagrams for your bike in the owners section of the harley-Davidson website.
