Great looking set up. That's the bag I was looking at on the kuryakyn site, any issues with it? Do you have to use a rack with it or can it be used on just the passenger seat for solo trips?
A couple ofblack pearl street glide (with a custom chopped tour pak) pictures
This tour pak works pretty good for me, but I haven't brought a passenger for any real trips yet. BTW it does have the pad on it now, these pics are old.
I will have to go along with the King Tour Pac. If you are going to do a lot as far as road trips, you will like the space. I had been thinking about making mine detachable but I use it way to much to take it off.
That 30 pack of Keystone light fits right in there[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
I have the detachable King Tour Pak on my 06 Street Glide. When I travel its great to throw on. When I'm blasting around town then take it off. I also have a luggage rack just like FLHT has on the back of his King Pak. I strap another T-Bag on top of that when I take a long trip. So I have the t-bag bungeed, the king pak and the saddle bags. I find it to be plenty. Of course we always buy stuff...... We find a local post office and mail it home even dirty clothes at times when you just can't find a laundry mat.
I love my tour pack, I wasnt a big fan of the looks before I owned one. Ill never take it off my classic. If I had a SG it would be a detach just to keep the cleaner looks.
I have a King TP on a two-up detachable rack and an aftermarket tour pack on a solo rack. I am including a picture of the aftermarket tp sold on ebay for $110 and is known on this forum as Customcyclegear/VIP/Mutazu and, my personal favorite, "El Cheapo." I have had the El Cheapo for two years and it's a fantastic value, IMHO. It holds within 85% of the HD King TP, comes with a backrest with arms, lock and key. It's ABS plastic and works very well. It's main drawback is that it probably will not support much weight if you add the very reasonably priced luggage rack that is offered for it. For about $189, they come in HD colors and if you do a search you will find some of these with favorable reviews from membes.
