Another seat fitment question...

Okay, I asked a question about seats on here before, but the guy sold it before I got there. Anyway, I have another chance to get a decent seat at a decent price... My question is this - Will a seat that's designed for a 2014-2016 Road Glide fit my 2012 Street Glide?

Yes it will. Seats are pretty much compatible from 2009 to present, maybe 2008 but that was the odd year where the 08 was a little like the 07 and a little like the 09s.

I have a 2008 and any seat up to 2017 will fit it. Basically any touring seat is the same '08 to present.

That's what I thought I just wasn't positive on the 2008 models.

careful, that's not quite true. I have an 08 and a 12, not all seats that fit the 12 fit the 08. Most packaging 'says' they should, but they don't.

Also, as the 09+ frame is wider, using a newer (wider) seat on an 08 could have it rubbing the saddlebag lids when riding.
