hi guys,
i have been having a hard time finding a painted inner fairing for my 2014 ultra classic in sand pearl color. Does anyone know of anyone painting this color or exchanging fairings etc? fairing exchange doesn't and hd discontinued this part in that color. thanks for any help..
You can have your paint scanned at a PPG supplier/dealer, then they can mix you up the colour you need. Also, just google the exact colour name, and somewhere someone will have posted the paint code at some point.

Agreed, no color is impossible to find. It won't be cheap, hell, standard HD colors are outrageously priced, but it can be had.
Then it's just a matter of pulling the inner faring and having a good body guy prep and paint it.

This. I had a hell of a time getting anyone to touch Daytona Blue, I found a local painter who knew the local PPG guy, he researched it and was able to get it. It was not cheap. I'd say your best bet is contact the local PPG rep.
I went to three reputable painters here in the Raleigh/Durham NC area. Because Purple Fire is custom they weren't willing to take the chance of not matching it well enough to not stand out. So I bit the bullet and bought from HD. Expensive yes. I think all Custom color bikes should come with the inner painted. What do you look at while riding? The inner.
