mp3 wiring

Hi all
looking for advise on where to install the wires for the harley mp3 player should i go to the battery and install a fuse link or is there some other place . the directions dont show where to hook it up

Actually, the instructions do show the hook-up quite clearly. If you don't have the instruction sheet, I could scan a copy, and send it to your e-mail.
There are only 2 wires in the MP3 power harness. One fused wire (12V+) splices to a capped-off and unused wire that is bundled with the headlight harness.
The other wire is a ground, and must be connected to a solid grounding point like the chassis.

I must be missing that one doug if you can send it that would be great i only have the one that shows the 9 volt battery hook up

check out this thread. It talks about a switch on the back of the player. If the switch is in the wrong position the volume will be very low.

thanks point already did that got off ebay it said new but it must be missing wiring directions waiting for one of the guys to send me a scan of them
