Have an 09 Street glide with the Harmon Cardon stereo.
While the bike is running, and my phone is plugged in with an auxillary cord playing music, at a certain point(about 3/4 of the way to max volume) when I keep clicking the volume up button on my handlebars, the volume doesn't turn up. It's like it is governed at a certain volume level. Also, when i hit the volume up button, it jumps up in volume for a split second, but then goes back down to the previous volume level.
With the electronics on but the motor not running, I can go full volume without issues.
Has anyone run into this? Is it supposed to be governed like this, or is there a setting i can change?
You're having trouble with your Harmon Kardon radio!!!???? Welcome to the club!!
thanks! The frustration is not to get any insights from the dealer about the HK issues, not even running the diagnostics and just blame it to the Hogtunes amp
I sent the unit to Iron Cross today. Not sure if you guys know, they do offer basic repair via eBay for $165 http://r.ebay.com/2eq2jh
