Depending upon how much you owe in the 18, Id sell it, or let a dealer buy it from you...and as long as youre not in the hole...say f-k it and be done with it and the bitch.
I am upside down on the loan. The 18 is the hardy candy hot rod red flake. Of course... the most expensive color on the SG.... That is 29K MSRP. My payoff is about 29.5K. Id hate to see what the dealership will give me for the 18.
swap the seats between the 2 bikes , it won't feel like riding hers .
or just sell it and take the loss if you're happy with your bike .
sorry to hear of your situation , good luck .
Funny thing, she got the same seat I have on mine. She liked it enough that she wanted one.... So even if I swap out the seats to my nice broke in one, it is still the same look...
Yes that is what I would do. You should come out better. Or worst cause get a smokin deal on a 2018 at the end of the model year.
Thank you. But I also must consider this... Is that smoking deal going to be worth it?
Assuming that the 19 models come out in August, that is 4 more payments that I have to make. That is a total of $2,400 in payments on it. Would I be breaking even? Coming out ahead? Maybe behind?
......... that's a hot color !
...... dealer might almost treat ya right on the trade & then sell it again
..... $600 a mo. pymt ? for someone else's machine ? that's gotta hurt.

It is a very nice color.
I would hope the dealer treats me well... the 18 SG is the THIRD bike I bought from them. Looking at a FOURTH?!?!
$600/month is by choice. I could pay minimum but I like to pay more on principle. I do the same for my house.
Or put a new babe on the back, sans panties, and a nice ride to a secluded spot with some HD branded vodka and maybe you WILL ride the bike the ex rode on......
It's certainly worth a go while you ponder your situation.
I'm just trying to help a brother out.
Oh yeah, if you take my suggestion, post pixs please....

Keep it for the next ol lady. If you cant finacially then put it up for sale, its unlikely to sell so trade it in on a 2018 when the 2019s come out. In the mean time let your buddies drive it around
