Did not have this problem until I installed the triple play
I can't answer your problem but Custom Dynamic customer service is great. I had a question/concern, called them and they answered my question within 30 minutes of my call. Give them a call, they'll take care of you.
this is a continuation of my led taillights problem. Does anyone know or have a diagram that show the location on where to disconnect the voltage regulator from the stator. Custom Dynamics, who was very helpful advise to test my battery and voltage regulator. I can check the battery but not familiar where to disconnect the voltage regulator from the stator to test. The guy said from the regulator is a wire that goes to the stator and to disconnect it whike the bike was running to test the output. I have an 08 Road Glide. Help please.
Have you checked the battery voltage? Check the battery before starting to make sure it is at 12V+. If not at 12V+ the battery is dead or the stator is bad thus not charging. You will not ride to far before you know the stator is not charging.
Running at 14V+ will indicate a good stator and regulator.
That said, the stator disconnect is just a short distance from the regulator mounted on the frame behind the front wheel. the wire goes into the Primary case near the regulator. unplug to test. with the motor running. It should be 14-17V. I recommend anyone buy a factory service manual if for no other reason than for guidance. If I weren't working out of town, I'd post the manuals test procedures.
Best of luck. I chose to keep my junk as stock as possible to elude such issues.

Reason: Because I can
Yes. I have been on the phone with a guy by the name of Josh, who has been helpful but still no fix. He suggested, like others to check my battery, voltage regulator, and stater. All of which has come back good. After checking everything I went for about a 100 mile ride without the triple play on the bike. I disconnected the triple play for safety reason. During my ride I constantly monitored the bike voltage and nothing. Everything went as should...bike started and restarted without problems and with the exception of not having the the triple play module connected, all the led signals and load stabilizer functioned properly. I even rechecked the voltage on the bike after the ride with another voltmeter. Note: on this bike I have never experienced any malfunction of the L E D lights or OEM lights until i plugged in the Custom Dynamic triple play. CD is also the brand of the L E D inserts for my signals. ANY SUGGESTIONS on how to test the smart triple play. Would love to work this issue out because the lighting is exceptional, but may have to return the triple if this issue is not resolved. HELP Again, no issue with the L E D signals until I purchased the smart triple play.
Ok I finally figured out my problem. It was my front brake lever not fully disengaging. From the research it seems this is a common problem after installing aftermarket bars. There is a actuator within the handlebar cluster with a small nipple which can be easily broken during install of bars. Also if that is not the problem look at the lever alignment with the throttle cluster. If not aligned this can cause the malfunction
