I have a 2015 Road King and I noticed today that my license plate was missing. I inspected the 2 bolts that connect to the bracket and you can see what is left of the plate frame. I loosened the bolt that attaches to the frame and 2 small pieces of the frame came out. The metal license frame is a 50 dollar piece that I can get from the dealer, but am leary to buy it since it might break again.
So what's my point? Dont let this happen to you and check and see if for Plate frame do not have cracks. Now I have to go to the DMV and get a new plate. Im hoping that AAA can issue me a new plate. Fees for a new plate is 21 dollars and since my registration is expiring in July I can probably get a new sticker hopefully. Too bad my registration renewal is going to cost me 240 from the previous 195 I paid last year. Dang CA
