Did you get your FatCat installed and/or baffle swapped?
Any feedbabck?
Yes, I got the Fatcat installed on Thursday night...........but had a leak at the front head. So I had to get some new gaskets at the dealer on Friday, and re-installed it all Friday night. While I had it all apart again, I started spraying the wd-40 into the muffler and let it soak in a bit while I installed the new gaskets and put the head pipes back on. Then I used the block of pine wood and dropped the muffler on it a few times and the baffle finally started moving. Got that standard baffle out, slid in the quiet baffle and put it all together on the bike.
This thing sounds awesome.............it is quiet when you want it to be and it can bark when you want it to. The power is right there all thru the powerband, and it actually feels stronger then the Supertrapp ever did with any disc/endcap combo I tried. I really love the sound of the Fatcat with quiet baffle...........when you crank it up and let it rip it sounds like a race car just "growling" along.
This is my 9th exhaust, and I must say it's my favorite to date. The Rinehart TD's come in a close second for sound quality alone.
