Clean it up real good and keep an eye on it. Possibly just residual from prior fluid change. I wouldn't lose sleep over it.
+1 I think this is the most likely cause.
another good possibility that I didn’t see mentioned, was the bike just serviced prior to buying it, if the clutch cable was lubricated it may be some residual lube that wasn’t cleaned up or is seeping through the cable sheath.
i talked to the last owner and the bike has not had any resent maintenance, its actually so now for the 20k servicing. from the grim in that area it look like its been doing this for a little while
im going to power wash it today get as clean as i can then keep an eye on it i moved the clutch cable so its not resting on the engine case any more so when it leaks i should be able to tell if its the cover, clutch cable is leaking or just oil from a sloppy oil change
i power washed the bike cleaned that area beast i could put about 30 miles on it since a couple short trips no leak? not sure if i didnt ride it long enough or if it was from a messy oil change?
