Kst mayhem bars
looking into the 14” kst mayhem bars for my 2010 Road King. Any thoughts. Just trying to see what people think of them. Is the grip angle better than the stock bars. Will i need longer cables and wiring. Looked into the yaffe monkeys in 14”. Listing said i didnt need longer cables or wiring. Any input would be appriciate. Thanks.

Thanks for the input. I read that i might or might not need longer. I should just call my shop to see exactly what i need, and also what he will charge. I dont have the time to do this with my schedule. These bars are stainless steel compaired to the wild ones, and yaffe’s which are chrome plated steel. Also are not $400 like the other two.

I have the Mayhem Bagger Bars on my '14 Limited. I did the install myself and it was a bitch pulling the wires through the peak of the bars and I made my own wire extensions and staggered the connections so they would pull easier. I am short armed and did the 14" so I could pull the bars back a little to be comfortable. The grip position is great and the bars are just at shoulder height so are comfortable for me. I am not sure about your Clutch cable I have hydraulic and didn't have to extend either just had to reroute them. I do really like these bars but not sure that if I did it again wouldn't go with bars that didn't have the sharp peak because of the PIA pulling wires through.

I have 10" bars and my cables barely fit. I heard 12" and larger need the extensions. I love them the only thing is if I take my hands off at idle they bounce around quite a bit. I'm sure this is the same with the yaffe bars since it has more to do with the vibration compounded by the extra height
