Default Kick stand

What with all the back and forward motion on my new 2018 Road Glide when the bike is on the kick stand. It feels as though the bike might fall over???

There is a lock tab that will keep it from falling over, so long as the JIFFY STAND is locked in all the way forward and in proper position when down.

The bike is not going to fall over. You can drag the bike all over the parking lot and the stand won't collapse.

Easy remedy to this. Push the bike out and shove it to the ground. Get those first dents and scratches out of the way, you’ll stop worrying so much.

Just to give yourself peace of mind, while the bike is on the stand, and yes, in the Harley world it is referred to as a jiffy stand, try to push it backwards or forwards. Unless yours is defective it will not fall over.

As mentioned, once your bike is on the stand, you can rock it back and forth as much as you like and it won't go anywhere. You can even park it on a slight downhill if you want.

Just make sure your bike is leaning downwind in strong winds though.

If the tab is locked between the plates....that baby ain't going anywhere! Actually quite a good design.
